🔹“CLASSIFYING FOODS AS “GOOD” AND “BAD” CREATES A SENSE OF MORALITY ABOUT FOOD CHOICES. WHILE WE OFTEN TALK ABOUT WAYS TO DECREASE FOOD GUILT, JUST AS IMPORTANT IS ELIMINATING THE FEELINGS OF SUPERIORITY THAT COMES WITH “GOOD” FOOD CHOICES.”🔹
Decreasing judgment about food choices is a vital step in making peace with food. The goal isn’t to see all foods as nutritionally equal, because that’s not possible or realistic. Instead, practice having the same emotional reaction to whatever you choose to eat. You aren’t beating yourself up for eating cake OR patting yourself on the back for choosing carrots. When we eliminate the judgment, we free up space to just make wise decisions for ourselves. What too many people overlook is praising food choices – this is JUST as problematic and demoralizing.

P.S.–I’m so thankful to have my Bella Mae by my side each day cheering me on through each workout. Today was Day 16 of my MMA inspired workout–Dynamic Strength with an added 5 minute ad routine. I LOVED the new ab workout and let me just say that for 5 minutes it was a challenge! My abs were on fire afterwords. It felt so good! I’m feeling stronger everyday–especially in my core and arms, baby! I can’t believe I am now over half way done with this program. Time flies when you are having fun, they say! I guess they are right!
